Dragon Ball Z is Moscato

Ask any anime fan their opinion on Dragon Ball Z and you’re likely to get a curious look before an answer.

“...is this person testing my anime knowledge”

Dragon Ball Z the hit manga series by Akira Toriyama was many of our first anime and still a top seller but DBZ has never been accused of being Shakespeare. DBZ knows its audience and produces enough power ups and screams to keep us satisfied since the 90s but with simplicity and mass appeal come detractors. DBZ is sometimes accused of being simplistic and for basic anime pallets.

Moscato is the DBZ of the wine world. Hugely popular and varying levels of quality, Moscato has legions of fans. This wine made from the Muscat grape is often made light and sweet in style. A noticeable note of sugar with honeyed flavors. Here are some Moscato’s for people looking to explore their palate beyond your common grocery store brands.

Moscato D’asti: Semi- Sparkling Moscato made in the region of Asti in Italy. This wine carries a hint of sweetness with light bubbles, Perfect party wine and must try for Moscato fans.

Lovo Colli Euganei- Fior d’Arancio- Made from 100% Muscat grape this wine makes the perfect aperitif and pairs well with light dishes. A step up from the your mass grocery store Mosacto’s that are overwhelmingly sugar filled with little acid to balance.
