Todoroki x ICE WINE

Shoto Todoroki, One of the main protagonist and fan favorites from the Kohei Horikoshi created series “My Hero Academia”- The popular manga series about Izuku Midoriya  along with his group of friends navigating adolescence as they train to be superhero’s at U.A. highschooler.

 Todoroki’s quirk(think superpowers) is fire and ice and the perfect opportunity to put my anime people on to ICE WINE.

 Ice wine is exactly that, wine made from frozen grapes but not simply freezing grapes and crushing them. Ice wine is a sweet wine that can only be made in prolonged winter conditions by allowing the grapes to freeze on the vine naturally thus allowing the grapes to create a highly concentrated sweet grape must(juice) used to make the dessert wine. Real ice wines (also called Eiswein in Germany) are more expensive than your typical grocery store wine because of the conditions needed to produce them but worth the try if you like sweet wines and are looking for a high quality step up from your standard grocery store varieties.

Pair it with: Dessert wines are typically paired with dessert. Sweet with sweets, Banana pudding, creme brulee, a nice slice of cheesecake.
